The police arrested journalist Mohamed Mostafa Moussa on November 7, 2022, from his home in Alexandria, and he was forcibly disappeared until he was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Cairo on November 14, 2022 pending Case No. 1977 of 2022, Supreme State Security, and he was placed in Qanater Prison. For men, Musa suffers from several health problems, as he underwent several heart surgeries, and he had previously installed five stents in the heart, which means that his imprisonment and lack of medical care poses a threat to his life.
